# Can I Use Speakers with Unyte Programs?
## This article covers the different speaker recommendations for SSP, ILS (Focus) and RRP
**SSP:**
SSP Core is recommended to be listened to using over-the-ear headphones. If using headphones initially creates an unsafe experience, speakers can be used as an intermediate step toward headphone use. SSP Connect and SSP Balance can both be delivered without headphones.
If you are sensitive to SSP music, it is a good practice to wear earbuds or noise-canceling headphones while your client listens to the music through the speakers.
The speakers are intended to be an intermediate delivery option for clients who are adverse or sensitive to headphones. **The goal should be to use the speakers until the client is comfortable to graduate to the headphones. The timeline for this will vary with each client and each experience.**
**ILS (Focus):**
Due to the use of bone conduction, speakers are not appropriate for use with the ILS (Focus System) programs.
**RRP:**
- may be preferred for a shared experience.
- Pair of speakers or soundbar with left and right audio channels.
- Built-in laptop or phone speakers are not recommended.
