# What headphones are needed for RRP?
**Headphones are recommended in most cases.**
- Over-the-ear headphones, or circumaural preferred, when available
- On-ear headphones or earbuds are OK
- Noise-cancelling headphones are also OK, when listening in noisy environments
**Speakers may be preferred for a shared experience.**
- Pair of speakers or soundbar with left and right audio channels
- Built-in laptop or phone speakers are not recommended.
