How do I update the Unyte app on my device?

PLEASE NOTE: We frequently update the Unyte app to add new features, fix any bugs that have been identified and improve the user experience. That's why it's important to ensure you are using the most recent version of the Unyte app. 

Depending on your phone settings, updates might occur automatically. We recommend setting up auto-update on your device to ensure your app is automatically updated.

To turn iOS (Apple) automatic app updates on: 

  1. Open Settings, then tap Apps.

  2. Tap App Store.

  3. Turn App Updates on. 

To update Android apps automatically: 

  1. Open the Google Play app.
  2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture.
  3. Tap Settings> Network Preferences >Auto-update apps.
  4. Select an option:
    1. Update all apps over Wi-Fi or mobile data
    2. Update with limited amount of mobile data
    3. Update over Wi-Fi only

 

To see if an app update is available:

On your iOS (Apple) device:

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Tap the My Account button or your photo at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap App Updates, then tap Update next to an app to update only that app, or tap Update All.
  4. Scroll down to see if the button next to the Unyte app indicates 'Update'. 
    1. If the button indicates 'Update', tap it to update your app. 
    2. If the button indicates 'Open', you have the latest version. Simply tap it to open the app. 

Alternative: Search “Unyte” in the App Store to find the Unyte app. 'Update' indicates an update is available.

On your Android device:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture.
  3. Tap "Installed". 
  4. Tap "Manage apps & devices".
  5. Tap "Manage"
  6. Select "Updates available"
  7. Select "Check for updates"
  8. If the Unyte app appears indicating an update is available, check the box next to the app name to initiate the update. 

Or: Search “Unyte” in the Google Play Store to find the Unyte app. Tap on the app once found. Update indicates that an update is available. Open indicates that you have the latest version.
