Has SSP Connect: Classical Changed?

Unyte-iLs is pleased to offer SSP Connect: Classical Calm, an updated version of SSP Connect: Classical which is purely full-spectrum music without any processing or modulation applied to the frequencies.

The first version of SSP Connect: Classical contained some slight boosting of low frequencies and ‘gating’ of the volume. While this was consistent with the Calming playlist which has been used in our Focus System for over a decade, we received input from our provider community that it was still activating for some clients. 

To respond to this and to create consistency within the SSP Connect Pathway, we now offer this full-spectrum classical playlist. With this updated version, all of the SSP Connect playlists (Adult, Child, and Classical) deliver music with no frequency modulation.

As with every SSP pathway, it is important to continue to monitor responses and titrate accordingly.  Music, especially when presented in the context of therapy, can have a very powerful effect.

The new program will be marked Connect: Classical Calm in the Unyte-iLs app.  When you log in to the Unyte-iLs app again, you will see the new program listed.  If you click on the old program, you will see a blank screen.  Simply click the 'Back' button for access to the new program.  

It will be necessary to download Connect: Classical v 1.1 as you have downloaded all other programs.

To save space, we recommend that you delete the original Connect: Classical from your device. It is unavailable for listening in any case. To remove downloaded content, click the account icon in the top right corner of the app. Then SETTINGS > MANAGE DOWNLOADED CONTENT.
